André Herrlich is from Dresden and now lives in Nueva Ecija in the Philippines. At Xalor, he combines editorial work with the technical side of the project: he develops the platform, takes care of infrastructure and operations, and writes himself. Together with his family, he carries the project in everyday life.
He was writing before Xalor. Some years ago, he ran a blog where he published short stories — science fiction, occasional erotic prose, and texts that did not always fit neatly into a genre. The blog is gone, but the work of storytelling remains.
His professional background is in IT, but his particular relationship is with the German language. He is interested in rhythm, precise word choice, and the possibility of expressing a thought differently than expected. His contributions move between poetry, short prose, and longer narratives. At Xalor, he is therefore founder, technical operator, and author at once.
